How We Operate

In-House Training

  • We offer 'in house' training and consultancies i.e. design and deliver training specific to groups and organisations or work with groups/organisations to develop community strategies. A particular specialism in recent years has been Community Consultation - training community members or service users (through an accredited 'learning through action' programme) to conduct consultations in their own communities.
  • TWICS is also active regionally and sub regionally through CDSE (Community Development South East) and nationally primarily with FCDL (Federation for Community Development Learning) and the England Standards Board for Training and Qualification in Community Development Work in national and regional debates on Community Development and Training
  • TWICS services the Southampton Community Workers Network - a network of front line Community Workers.
